Description Tabs Pro ("the App") collects minimal data to provide our service:
- Shop Information: Store domain, installation date, app settings
- Authentication Data: OAuth tokens for Shopify API access
- Usage Data: App installation status, last access timestamp
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
- ❌ Customer personal information (names, emails, addresses)
- ❌ Order data or transaction details
- ❌ Product inventory or pricing
- ❌ Analytics or tracking cookies
3. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data solely to:
- Authenticate your store with Shopify API
- Track app installation and activation status
- Provide technical support when requested
4. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases via Prisma Cloud. We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, HMAC webhook verification, and secure session management.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Active Apps: Data retained while app is installed
- Uninstalled Apps: Soft-deleted immediately upon uninstallation
- GDPR Compliance: All data permanently deleted 48 hours after uninstallation
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following services:
- Shopify: For authentication and API access
- Vercel: For hosting (GDPR-compliant, ISO 27001 certified)
- Prisma Cloud: For database storage (encrypted)
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your data (contact support)
- Request data deletion (uninstall app or contact support)
- Data portability (limited, as we store minimal data)
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via email to the store owner's registered Shopify email.
